On Sunday fighters of the Donetsk People's
Republic’s militia managed to destroy a Grad multiple rocket launcher system
(MRLS) belonging to the Ukrainian military near the village of Karlovka in the
Donetsk region, the self-proclaimed republic’s representatives report citing
the militia commander Igor Strelkov.
"This night our recon team launched an attack against a Grad MRLS battery just north of Karlovka. One enemy unit was destroyed," Strelkov said.
Last Thursday Kiev announced that Ukrainian military
launched an offensive near Karlovka, 30 km from the city of Donetsk.
