Report fron South Front about the same incident

The self-defense of Lugansk managed to push back the enemy from Lugansk by using the new weapons.

According to the report from LPR, due to sustaining confrontation the gunmen of National guard and soldiers of Ukrainian army had to withdraw from the city limits. The militia was able to repulse an aggressor thanks to new armored vehicles and artillery, such as launch vehicle BM-21 “Grad”, gun-mortars and howitzer weapons. The militia seized this arsenal from Ukrainian army, while repulsing attacks. Thanks to which the Lugansk citizens got an opportunity to recover themselves after regular shelling. The previous day a few shells got into dwelling houses, one bus was blown up, 2 civilians were killed and 4 were injured and now in a hospital.

Valery Bolotov, the head of LPR: “The raiding force has been working for 2 days running, there was bombardment with support of spotter, a few civilians were killed, dwelling houses as well as factories of Lugansk were destroyed.” Now the self-defense is flushing out the details and looking for the provocateurs. Moreover, the militia is hoping to move front line away for several kilometers from Lugansk.
