MOSCOW, June 28. /TASS/. Ukraine’s forces shelled the
militia positions of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic 19 times
over the past 24 hours, including from weapons banned under the Minsk
agreements, the LPR militia said on Tuesday.
The village of Kalinovo came under fire five times from
Stepnoye, Novozvanovka and Novoaleksandrovka. "The fire was opened from
mortars with the caliber of 120mm and 82mm, weapons of infantry combat
vehicles, automatic grenade launchers and small arms," the militia told
the LuganskInformCenter.
The village of Pervomaysk was shelled from
Novoaleksandrovka from automatic grenade launchers and small arms," it
said. Other settlements of Zolotoye, Kalinovka and Lozovoye also came under
fire.
During the shelling of Veselogorovka from the Troitskoye
village the Kiev forces used mortars with the caliber of 82mm. No casualties
have been reported, the militia said.
The participants of the Contact Group on settling the
crisis in eastern Ukraine agreed to observe the silence regime starting from
midnight on April 30. However, the self-defense militias and Kiev forces
continue accusing each other of ceasefire violations.
