Russian parliamentarians open to dialogue with Ukraine — lawmaker



The Russian Federation Council speaker says attempts to have dialog with Ukraine's parliament failed.

MOSCOW, June 29. /TASS/. Speaker of the Russian Federation Council upper house of parliament Valentina Matviyenko said on Wednesday that the Russian parliament is still open to dialogue with the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada (parliament), despite the previous unsuccessful attempts to establish contact with the Ukrainian colleagues.

"As for me, my conscience is clear regarding the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. We have made repeated attempts within the framework of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (of the CIS countries), as well as at the bilateral level to invite our colleagues from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to dialogue. Unfortunately, our attempts have failed, but we still remain open to such a dialogue", the speaker of the Federation Council told reporters.

Matviyenko said that "the parliamentary dialogue should be maintained in any conditions."

13 houses destroyed in Donetsk, Gorlovka, Dokuchaevsk



Kiev armed forces shelled Petrovskiy district of Donetsk, Gorlovka and Dokuchaevsk the entire night.

6 houses got damaged in Gorlovka, 2 houses in Dokuchaevsk and 1 house in Petrovskiy district.

Head of the Petrovskiy district Mksim Zhukovskiy specified that in the west of the capital 4 more houses destroyed.

‘Sotsgorodok 15 windows flew away, gas line damaged on Petrovskogo 301, and roof was struck,on Chehov 25 several flats got damages.

It was earlier reported that 2 civilians of Petrovskiy district got wounded.

LPR militia says Kiev forces shell Lugansk villages 19 times



According to the militia, the fire was opened from mortars, weapons of infantry combat vehicles, automatic grenade launchers and small arms

MOSCOW, June 28. /TASS/. Ukraine’s forces shelled the militia positions of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic 19 times over the past 24 hours, including from weapons banned under the Minsk agreements, the LPR militia said on Tuesday.

The village of Kalinovo came under fire five times from Stepnoye, Novozvanovka and Novoaleksandrovka. "The fire was opened from mortars with the caliber of 120mm and 82mm, weapons of infantry combat vehicles, automatic grenade launchers and small arms," the militia told the LuganskInformCenter.

The village of Pervomaysk was shelled from Novoaleksandrovka from automatic grenade launchers and small arms," it said. Other settlements of Zolotoye, Kalinovka and Lozovoye also came under fire.

During the shelling of Veselogorovka from the Troitskoye village the Kiev forces used mortars with the caliber of 82mm. No casualties have been reported, the militia said.

The participants of the Contact Group on settling the crisis in eastern Ukraine agreed to observe the silence regime starting from midnight on April 30. However, the self-defense militias and Kiev forces continue accusing each other of ceasefire violations.

DPR militia source reports civilian killed as Ukrainian forces shell Donbass



A source says the Ukrainian side launched a mortar shelling attack on a Dnbass village, killing one civilian

MOSCOW, June 27. /TASS/. One civilian was killed in Gorlovka as Kiev’s security forces shelled several populated localities in Ukraine’s south-eastern Donbass region overnight, a source in the security agencies of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) reported on Monday.

"At 23:07 pm, the Ukrainian side launched a mortar shelling attack on Gorlovka and its surroundings. A man dies of splinter wounds as a result of the shelling," the source told the Donetsk News Agency.

According to him, the Ukrainian forces shelled several more cities in DPR overnight.

"At 04:00 am, the Ukrainian side opened fire on DPR positions in the area of the industrial zone outside Yasinovataya from 122 mm caliber weapons. Also, Dokuchayevsk, the northern suburb of Donetsk, the Vasilyevka and Krutaya Balka settlements of the Yasinovataya district and the Sakhanka and Kominternovo settlements in the south of DPR came under fire. The Ukrainian forces used 28 mm and 120 mm caliber mortars.

Kiev military make large-scale shelling of Veselogorovka — Lugansk people’s militia



"Fire from Troitskoe continues until now. The mass shelling continues. At least 20 mines alone flew to our positions during that time," the people’s militia said

MOSCOW, June 26. /TASS/. Ukrainian military are making a mass shelling of people’s militia positions of the proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) near Veselogorovka village in Perevalsky District, LuganskInformCenter news agency reports on Sunday citing LPR defense representative.

"Units of the Ukraine’s Armed Forces literally unleashed a burst of fire from Troitskoe Village to our positions near Veselogorovka. They are firing from 120 mm mortars and automatic grenade launchers. MICVs are also firing intensively," the source said.

Firing started at about 23.15 local time. "Fire from Troitskoe continues until now. The mass shelling continues. At least 20 mines alone flew to our positions during that time," the people’s militia said.

Information about casualties is clarified now.

On April 29, the Contact Group for a settlement in eastern Ukraine agreed yet another full ceasefire in Donbass starting from the midnight of April 30. It is an eighth ceasefire agreement since the autumn of 2014. The sides however continue accusing each other of ceasefire violations.
