/TASS/. Pilots from the Black Sea Fleet’s marine aviation and the crew of the
Rostov-on-Don submarine carried out joint drills, the fleet’s press service
told journalists on Monday.
"The
Rostov-on-Don crew trained to maneuver the submarine upon emersion and
submersion in routine and emergency modes during the one-day exercise, as well
as to receive and share data with ships and command posts during communication
sessions," the report says.
The crews of the
Be-12 plane and two Ka-27M helicopters also searched the submarine with the use
of a hydroacoustic station.
