Ideas of patriotism in Russia are so strong that no one will be able to re-encode the country, Russian President Vladimir Putin said while speaking on Russia Day at the ceremony to present 2014 State Prizes for outstanding achievements in science and technology, literature and arts, as well as humanitarian activity on Friday.
"These ideals of patriotism are so deep and strong that no one has ever been or will be able to re-encode Russia, adapt it to their formats," Putin said. "It is impossible to separate, tear us off and isolate us from our native roots and origins.".
