The pilots failed to
eject themselves.

/TASS/. Both pilots of the Sukhoi-25UB fighter-bomber lost in the Stavropol
Region on Tuesday died in the air crash, the Defense Ministry said on
Wednesday.
"The Defense
Ministry’s probe on the site of the Sukhoi-25UB crash in the Stavropol
Territory has confirmed the death of both pilots. They failed to eject
themselves," the Defense Ministry said.
The Sukhoi-25UB jet
of Russia’s Aerospace Force crashed in the Stavropol Region on Tuesday. A
source in the region’s law enforcement agencies said the crash occurred while
the plane was performing a training flight. The crew failed to complete an
aerobatics figure called dead loop and flew into the ground.
The plane carried no
ammunition and crashed in an unpopulated area causing no destruction on the
ground.
