Three injured in helicopter’s hard landing in Siberia


There were 25 people onboard, including 22 workers and three crew members.

TASS, December 16. Three people received light injuries when a Mi-8 helicopter made a hard landing in West Siberia’s Tomsk Region, the press service of the Emergencies Ministry’s regional branch told TASS on Sunday.

"There were 25 people onboard, including 22 workers and three crew members. Three people received light injuries during the incident," the press service said. They have been hospitalized, and there is no threat to their lives.

The incident was caused by a broken landing gear leg, a source in the emergency services said.

The helicopter was en route from the Kargasok village to the Kedrovy town.
