VLADIVOSTOK, July 12.
/TASS/. A Pacific Fleet combat squadron has returned to Vladivostok on Thursday
after a two-month long-distance voyage, during which it visited ports in
Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines and Japan, spokesman for the
Pacific Fleet Captain 2nd rank Nikolai Voskresensky said.
"Today, a
Pacific Fleet combat squadron consisting of the Admiral Tributs and Admiral
Vinogradov large anti-submarine ships and the Pechenga sea tanker under the
command of captain 1st rank Oleg Korolyov ended a two-month long-distance
voyage and returned to Vladivostok <...> For two months the Pacific Fleet
ships performed tasks in the Pacific Rim and made business calls at ports in
Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines and Japan," Voskresensky
reported.
In Vladivostok, the
ships were officially met by commander of the Primorsky Multiple-Type Fleet
Forces Rear Admiral Sergei Zhuga.
