International Day of mother tongue



Celebration of the International Day of mother tongue was held in the Donetsk state academic opera and ballet theater named after Anatoliy Soloviyanenko.

The program of the vent included thematic concert and exhibition where traditional German, Bulgarian, Ukrainian, Greek costumes were presented. Literature and creative works of different nationalities and who live on the territory of the Republic.

English, Spanish, Chinese and Russia languages are the most popular languages in the world. Thematic performances of different people who live in the DPR were presented onstage of the opera and Ballet Theater. The main peculiarity was that poetries were read at first in language of the original ad then they were read in Russian.

Not occasionally exists such expression that ‘the more languages you know, the more times you can be called human’.
