DPR parliament sends its speaker to resignation, Pushilin appointed acting speaker

Pushilin’s first decree as acting speaker was to dismiss head of the Council’s administrative department Alexei Alexandrov

MOSCOW, September 4. /TASS/. Speaker of the People’s Council (parliament) of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Andrei Purgin has been sent to resignation. His duties will be performed by deputy speaker Denis Pushilin, the Donetsk News Agency said late on Friday citing Pushilin’s statement.

"An initiative group of lawmakers called an extraordinary meeting of the DPR People’s Council. Seventy out of 73 lawmakers voted to remover Andrei Purgin from the post of the People’s Council speaker. Deputy speaker Denis Pushilin was appointed acting speaker," the statement said.

Pushilin’s first decree as acting speaker was to dismiss head of the Council’s administrative department Alexei Alexandrov. Explaining this move, Pushilin said that over the period when Alexandrov had occupied his post "lawmakers and employees of the People’s Council had to face a number of problems, from management ones to wage arrears." "Moreover, instead of doing his job, Alexei Alexandrov has made a number of political statements running counter to the policy of the entire state," Pushilin said. "To my big regret, speaker of the People’s Council Andrei Purgin has fallen under the influence of this man."

"The last straw was today’s attempt to frustrate the meeting of the People’s Council when lawmakers had to listen to knowingly false statements geared to whip up tension and destabilize the situation," Pushilin said.

Europe’s migration crisis caused by US policy of imposing its standards — Putin

The president underscored that the United States does not carry such a burden with the migration flow, while Europe, "blindly following US instructions", suffers greatly

VLADIVOSTOK, September 4. /TASS/. The current migration crisis in Europe was absolutely expected, Russian President Vladimir Putin told reporters at the Eastern Economic Forum on Friday.

The crisis is rooted in the wrong foreign policy that the West and namely the United States conducts in the Middle East and Northern Africa, Putin said, reminding that Russia warned its partners about the possible consequences several years ago.

"What is this policy about? This is imposing its standards without taking into consideration historic, religious, national and cultural specifics of these regions," Putin said. "This is first of all, the policy of our American partners."

Putin said he was surprised how the US mass media criticize Europe for cruelty against migrants. He stressed that the US is not affected by this migrant flow while Europe, which blindly follows Washington's instructions, suffers the most.

On Thursday, Russia’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said Europe could learn from Russia how to deal with the refugees. She reminded that Russia has accommodated hundreds of thousands of refugees from Ukraine."These people were provided with shelter, food and benefits," she said. The diplomat expressed concerns about the EU’s "helplessness" over the influx of refugees from the Middle East and North Africa.

Europe has been at the epicenter of the unprecedented migration crisis. In the past months, the flow of migrants and refugees from Africa and the Middle East, and particularly Syria, to the European countries has increased.

In the recent weeks, the migrants have been storming border fences, trains and ferry boats. According to the European Commission, since the start of the year, more than 400,000 migrants have officially applied for asylum in 28 EU member-states. The flow of illegal migrants may reach 1 million people, a five-fold increase compared with last year.

Ukrainian Radicals May Stage 'Massacre' Against Poroshenko Regime

A serious standoff may begin between Kiev and Ukrainian extremist groups in autumn as a result of the recent violent clashes near the Ukrainian Parliament, the Ukrainian news outlet Vesti reported.

On Monday, the Ukrainian Parliament passed a constitutional amendment draft proposed by President Petro Poroshenko on decentralization. After the vote, violent clashes broke out in front of the parliament building. They left 124 people injured and one serviceman killed.

The radicals who staged the clashes might have been aware that Poroshenko’s proposals are only advantageous to the West and presume no special benefits for Donbass.

The clashes prove Ukrainian radicals want the revolution to continue and the Ukrainian army to win the war at any costs. However, so far the situation is rapidly getting out of control, the article read.

"There are two options possible now – either Kiev would manage to maintain the public order or we would have another Somalia but in the middle of Europe. Now it is an either-or situation," Ukrainian political analyst Konstantin Bondarenko was quoted as saying by Vesti.

"Either Poroshenko supporters will stage a 'night of long knives' for radicals, or radicals will stage a ' St. Bartholomew night' for the president," he added.

It is highly possible that a new, third Maidan (revolution) is currently in preparation in Ukraine, especially taking into account that winter is coming, "the favorite period for Ukrainian revolutions," Vesti claims.

"I wouldn’t be surprised if the clashes result in a series of political murders or the level of radicalization reached its height. It may provoke more public unrest. The third Maidan would be a bloodbath," Ukrainian political analyst Andrei Zolotarev was quoted as saying by Vesti.

The structure of the current parliamentarian coalition is practically destroyed, and the coalition itself may be ruined by the end of the year. Experts have different opinions on when a new parliamentary election may be held.

However, it is already clear that an "internal opposition bloc" has formed in the parliament, including the Radical Party and the Self Reliance Party as well as separate members of the Fatherland Party, the article read.

SITREP: grenade attack in Kiev – a US PSYOP?

It did not take the Ukrainian security services, which are usually not known for their competence, very long to identify the person who tossed the combat grenade at the security forces guarding the Duma: his name is Igor Gumeniuk.

The official version goes like this: Igor Gumeniuk is a member of the Svoboda Party of Oleg Tiagnibok and a solider of the “Sech” death squad.

This proud Ukrainian patriot had a page in the Russian equivalent of Facebook (Vkontakte) where he posted photos of himself as a formidable nationalist warrior and some of his original “artwork”, including two Russian-made Makarov pistols and some bullets arranged in the form of a Swastika.  A true intellectual indeed.

So yes, he is perfect for the job and he was found in a record time.

Does anybody else get a weird feeling while reading all this?

Let’s think about the cui bono thing again and begin by setting the context.

Yesterday the Ukrainian Rada was debating a completely meaningless proposal by Poroshenko which only pretended to implement the Minsk-2 Agreement (M2A) while in reality completely ignoring all the key aspects of this agreement, which include a special status for the Donbass negotiated and drafted jointly with the representatives of Novorussia.  This proposal was a crude fake, an empty pseudo-effort at decentralization.

And while the Rada was debating this non-proposal a picture perfect Nazi tosses a grenade and kills three security officers.  And today, one of the craziest of crazies, Oleg Liashko, has announced that his Radical party was leaving the government coalition and was joining the opposition.

Scary stuff, no?  Don’t you get the feeling that “Poroshenko the Moderate” is about to get overthrown by some really scary Nazis?!

Exactly.

Except that even after the departure of Liashko’s party Poroshenko supporters still control the Rada (they have enough voices for that).  Except that as terrorists go, Mr. Gumeniuk appears to be almost too perfect of a Nazi freak.  Except that the SBU apparently had him arrested almost immediately.  Since when is the SBU so fast?

Remember how Eltsin used the Pamiats Party and, later, Zhirinovksy as a bogeyman?  Remember how the West was told that if something happened to Eltsin those “extremists” would seize power?  Even Putin played that little game with Zhirinovsky, at least for a little while.  I think that exactly the same is happening in the Nazi occupied Ukraine were the Ukronazi freaks of Svoboda and the Radical Party serve to make the Nazis in power look comparatively sane.

The regime or, should I say, its US handlers, has decided to give Poroshenko a way out of M2A by dangling in front of us the scary specter of a “real Nazi” takeover in the Ukraine (as opposed, I suppose, to the “not quite real Nazi” or “nice Nazi” regime currently in power): “look at how hard Poroshenko tries and look at how evil his enemies are!!  Poor Poroshenko, all he wants is peace and love, and those bad Nazis are now openly threatening him!!”

You know what?  Considering how dangerous these extremists are, Poroshenko might not have any other option left to him but to impose even harsher security measures against any dissenters and opponents.  To “save democracy”, of course.

This is all nonsense, of course – a crude spectacle played out to “excuse” Poroshenko for his non-compliance with M2A and a good way to prepare for the next elections by terrorizing the poor Ukrainians with a real bloodbath should they not vote for Poroshenko.

But this is all a smokescreen. Poroshenko still has the full backing of Uncle Sam and that means that he is in full control of the (US-run) security services.  If anything, the Rada attack yesterday and today’s revolt by Liashko only strengthen Poroshenko’s grip on the country.  I don’t know about you – but to me this all stinks of a typical US Psyop.

Clashes in Kiev prove that extremists not part of "mainstream" — Lavrov

Sergey Lavrov recalled that in 2012, the EU made a statement calling on Ukrainian politicians to refrain from cooperating with the Svoboda party which has been blamed for the recent clashes in Kiev

MOSCOW, September 1. /TASS/. Yesterday’s clashes in Kiev show that it is dangerous to coquet with extremists, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told students and lecturers of the International State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) on Tuesday.

"What happened in Kiev yesterday are the same extremists, the Svoboda [Freedom] party," Lavrov said. "When parliamentary elections were held in Ukraine in 2012 - and Svoboda’s charter adheres to documents of Ukrainian nationalists who announced their support for the new Hitler order - then EU made a statement, calling on Ukrainian politicians to refrain from cooperating with this strongly nationalist party," Lavrov noted. "When the coup happened, we reminded our colleagues how they treated this organization," he continued.

"No one denied that EU held such a position, but the French foreign minister said that ‘everything is fine’ and that ‘Svoboda is moving in the direction of political mainstream’. Well, it showed its ‘mainstream’ yesterday. One should not coquet with extremists anywhere," the top diplomat stressed.

Clashes in Kiev on August 31

Over 3,000 protesters against the Ukrainian Constitution amendments gathered at the Rada headquarters on Monday morning. Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said some 30 protesters, including the one who threw a grenade at policemen, were detained.

Around 90-100 National Guards members were injured in the clashes, and one servicemen died from sustained injuries, advisor to the interior minister Anton Geraschenko said.

The Right Sector, Ukraine’s ultranationalist radical organization, called an urgent gathering for its supporters in downtown Kiev following Monday’s clashes between police and protesters against amendments to the Ukrainian Constitution.

Meanwhile, according to Ukrainian News reports, three journalists have been injured on Monday during the Rada clashes.
